That is a good question...
Generally speaking, this used to be a wide shouldered, running back's league. In recent years though, it seems like EVERYONE has at least one legit deep threat and an able to very good QB. Like our professional counterparts in the NFL, MDFL offenses have looked a bit more 'wide open' in recent years.
Tim and Ward are my personal favorites, naturally ...hey, I am neutral when it counts but I am still a Storm fan deep down

... However, the league official in me is very proud of Action, Mike and a number of other proven recievers that make an impact every week. The evolution and improvement of MDFL passing offenses is exciting to see. This shift to high powered passers and great recievers is probably the single biggest change in the league since I stopped coaching in 2003.
The offenses have gotten much more varried and high scoring so I have a hard time predicting who is gonna be tops... But I CAN predict that 2009 will be a lot of fun to watch.
(...If you like scoring, that is. I myself prefer to watch an exciting display of defensive perfection with a final score in the 3-0 range. But I know most folks like to see that scoreboard ringing early and often.
